Dave de vacaciones // Dave in Holidays

Últimamente mi blog ha estado muy parado, es cierto, pero la verdad ha sido por buenas causas, y es que tengo tanto trabajo que apenas me queda tiempo de dedicarme a mis propias obras. Este fue un dibujo que hice por septiembre y que hoy, en un hueco, decidí acuarelar.

Lately my blog has been a bit calm, that's true, but it's also true that has been due to good reasons: I've so much work that I barely have the time to can work in my own artworks. This is a drawing that I did around september, and today I decided in a break to colour it in watercolour.

Amigos invisibles // Invisible friends

Este año, entre unos cuantos asistentes al que ha sido mi último taller de cómic, hicimos un amigo invisible con dibujos. Por un lado, me tocó un chico que coincide conmigo en su gusto por el "furry", al que le hice un lobo antropomórfico... con mucha sangre! Y por otro, como regalo especial para mi prima Ana Cristina, le dibujé a Marceline, su personaje preferido de Hora de Aventuras.

This year, the people of the comic club of mi university have done a "invisible friend" with drawings. I had to do my picture for a guy who also loves furry art, and I did an anthropomorfic wolf for him... with tons of blood! And, in the other hand, I did like a special gift for my cousin Ana Cristina, a picture of Marceline, her fave character from Adventure Time.

El rey de las alcantarillas / The king of the sewers

Hoy me decidí a darle color a aquel cocodrilo que dibujé hace un par de semanas, y este es el resultado. ¡Mis nuevas acuarelas tienen unos colores taaaan vivos! ¡Espero que os guste!

Today I've decided to colour that crocodile that I drew a couple of weeks ago, and this is the result. My new watercolours have so bright colours! I hope you like it!

Cuatro estaciones / Four seassons

Ilustración hecha para, válgame la redundancia, un trabajo de ilustración para el máster de postgrado, donde debo representar el ciclo de las cuatro estaciones con un personaje sacado a partir de un objeto inanimado. Debo darle las gracias a Meik (http://meik-art.blogspot.com.es/) por tan fantástica idea. ¿Verdad que quedó mono?

Por cierto, esta es mi entrada número 19 del año, con lo que oficialmente, 2012 se convierte en mi año más activo en el blog ^^ (Y no hemos llegado a la mitad del año!)

Illustration done for a illustration work for the postdegree master, in which I have to represent the four seassons with a character done from an non-living object. I must give thanks to Meik (http://meik-art.blogspot.com.es/) for her fantastic idea. Isn't it cute?

I must add, this is my entry no 19 in the year, and that makes 2012 my most active year in this blog ^^ (and we haven't reached the half past of the year!)

Tipo elegante / Smart guy

Ilustración que hice, hará algo más de un mes, como regalo para un amigo. Es su "fursona", un pastor alemán, en un elegante traje, muy a lo hombre de negro. Me quedó muy elegante, ¿eh?

Fanart hecho para mi amiga Meik por su cumpleaños, de una de las protagonistas de su cómic alternativas (http://meik-alternativas.blogspot.com.es/). Magui es una dulce, pacifista y algo ingenua hippie.

Fanart fone for my friend Meik for her birthday; it's one of the main characters of her comic "Alternatives" (http://meik-alternativas.blogspot.com.es/). Magui is a sweet, pacifist and a bit naive hippie.

Spike & Tyke

¿Quién no recuerda a estos dos adorables personajes de Tom y Jerry? Spike comenzó siendo un perro brutal y agresivo que arremetía contra el pobre y sufrido Tom para ir, poco a poco, evolucionando: más adelante se convertiría en una especie de guardián de Jerry para, finalmente, tener un hijo (Tyke) al que le dedicaría todo el amor y devoción que un padre le puede dar a su hijo. Y aquí está un dibujo que hice de ellos a principios de este mes.

Who doesn't remember those two lovely characters from "Tom and Jerry"? Spike started like an agressive, brutal dog who constantly attacked at the poor, suffering Tom, to, slowly, evolve: later, he'd become in a kind of Jerry's guardian to, finally, get a son (Tyke), who he'd dedicate all his love and devotion. And here it's a drawing of them that I did in the firsts days of this month.
